Due to planned engineering upgrade investment works across the Transport for London network, normal advertised routes using the Jubilee line and Docklands Light Railway (DLR) to ExCeL London will be affected.ExCeL and Transport providers have worked together to plan the best routes to and from ExCeL and Central London during these closures. The information detailed below is offered to advise visitors on the contingency plans for each day of the Cruise Show
Sat 21st March Visitors should use DLR services from Bank and/or Tower Gateway to Canary Wharf. Alight at Canary Wharf to transfer to dedicated bus replacement services for the short journey directly to the main west entrance of ExCeL London.For the return journey, visitors should board the buses again from ExCeL west entrance for the journey back to Canary Wharf to link up with the DLR services
This dedicated service will operate from 0900-1900
Sunday 22nd March Visitors should use Jubilee Line services to Canning Town. Alight at Canning Town to transfer to dedicated bus replacement services for the short journey directly to the main west entrance of ExCeL London.For the return journey, visitors should board the buses again from ExCeL west entrance for the journey back to Canning Town to link up with the Jubilee line services
This dedicated service will operate from 0900-1700 On both dates, outside of the shuttle bus operation times, visitors should use the standard DLR rail replacements services advertised ExCeL staff will be on hand at both Canary Wharf (Saturday) and Canning Town (Sunday) to help with directions and visitor enquiries)
ExCeL London is located 10 minutes from Canary Wharf, in the heart of London's Royal Docks. There are four easy ways to get you to the CRUISE Show on the weekend. To help you decide which method of transport is best suited for your journey to ExCel London, on either the 21st or 22nd of March, we have included some details with maps for you below.
By RiverWhy not get into the spirit of the show and cruise with Thames Clippers, the only fast commuter river service from central London piers to Canary Wharf - from where there is a free direct shuttle service direct to entrance of ExCel London. For details visit http://www.thamesclippers.com/
By Car
With 4000 spaces, an excellent road network links ExCel with the North Circular (A406) and the M25, with access to the M1, M3, M4, M11, M23 and M40 motorways. Car parking at ExCel for the CRUISE Show is available for £10 for the day.
Free shuttle bus service
A free shuttle bus service will run on the hour from Embankment Underground station, from the coach stop of the Waterloo footbridge, directly to the entrance of ExCel London. The service is free and will operate hourly from 08:00 to 20:00
